Our beautiful school is bases on the 10 Acre Ernie Sheldon Youth Sports Complex. We are so fortunate to share a reciprocal relationship with the City of Folsom whereby we can share the park and they can use our school.
Our building consists of 7 school age classrooms, of which 5 are used regularly after school. Our Incredible 50’s style Diner is our main after school room. Decorated with a black and white checkerboard floor, real diner style banquettes and tables it is the favorite room in the school. The Diner has so many aspects that our age students love, items such as: pool table, foosball table, big screen TV for wii, art materials, tall tables and bar stools, fun art and a plush, cozy rug.
The classrooms in our school are spacious and filled with windows that allow warm sunlight to illuminate the room. All spaces are wonderfully decorated to represent the seasons, our creative themes and student work.
Our outside facilities are incredibly spaced for school aged children. Our fenced playground is spacious () with plenty of as area for regular ball games and outside lunch times. A beautiful garden, weather center and outdoor classroom encompass the south side of our building.
The external yard, the Ernie Sheldon Youth Sports Complex is perhaps one of the most outstanding features of our school. A beautiful and quiet park, this complex is comprised of two ball fields, a soccer field, two roller hockey courts, tennis, basketball courts and a sand park with play structure. It is the perfect venue for active children and creative teachers. This park is put to good use year ‘round.
