Thank you for your interest in Brighton Private School!
Brighton Schools believes that a quality private school experience should be accessible to all types of students.
Our school offers opportunities for all faiths, races, backgrounds, and national origins. We pride ourselves in providing excellent academic and social experiences for students of varied skill levels. Our students demonstrate abilities in good citizenship, age appropriate social / emotional behavior , and strong work efforts as well as positive interactions.
Brighton is a co educational, Kindergarten through Fifth Grade elementary day school. We welcome students with mild special needs who are able to work in a classroom environment independently with the support or provided resources.
The first step in our application / enrollment process is a school tour and completing the application. We welcome you to join us at our school, with your student to learn about our facility, our programs and expectations. We will also use this time to learn about you and your student as well as why you are contemplating private education. We encourage you to set up an appointment during the morning between 8:00 – 11:30 am on a regular school day so that you may view a typical day within the specific age group of your student.
The second step for a family who has formally applied is to have your student visit for a Discovery Day. This is a required step as it allows both family and school to observe the student within the environment.
The Head of School will arrange for this day with the student’s potential classroom. At this point we will request the following information from you regarding your student:
- Report cards from the preceding two years, from their previous school
- An authorization to exchange information with their previous school
- Information regarding any special education reports or services
When a family decides to officially enroll the student a third and final conversation occurs between the parents and principal. At that time the principal will review the information needed to formally enroll the student. Within this information we will request:
- A completed, front and back, copy of our Enrollment Contract
- Completed student enrollment packet
- Copy of current immunization report
A registration / curriculum fee is required to officially hold a student’s space.
