How we stand out – our teachers perspective:
Our Kindergarten is a full day program which includes many of the same instructional systems as upper grades. Time and ratios allow us to comfortably cover all Kindergarten standards as well as many First Grade areas of study. Our ratios are lower (1:14) during the whole day and lowered again (approx. 1:8) for small group, center instruction. We focus on multiple intelligences and differentiate our instruction to help children at all levels and strengths. This is an age appropriate classroom which focuses on social/ emotional development, academic skill mastery and positive self–esteem.
